Sudhir Slams Maharashtra Govt

Maharashtra BJP president Sudhir Mungantiwar today said he would strive to strengthen the party in the state.

"Congress says 'Congress Ka Haath Aam Admi Ke Saath' but has failed to uplift the poor despite being in power for several years," he told reporters here today.

"Our agenda is 'Garibon Ke Sanman Me, BJP Maidan Me'," he said.

The Ballarpur MLA said as state party chief, he would develop his party and work for the uplift of poor. He said he will work in a planned manner to strengthen party's membership.

He has started a contact drive during which he will visit the 7 divisional headquarters of his party followed by a second contact drive in June where he will visit all the 33 district headquarters.

He will also visit all the tehsil places across the state in July and August.

On separate Vidarbha and maintaining ties with Shiv Sena, Mungatiwar said that both are separate issues.

"Our policy on demand for a separate Vidarbha at national level is clear. We were always in favour of creation of smaller states, as it expedites development and provides better administration."

"Our ties with Shiv Sena are based on several important national and regional issues and their stand on unified Maharashtra is not going to hamper the relations between two parties," said Mungantiwar.

On Naxalim he said the meance should be dealt with an iron hand.
MAYAKKA DEVI

Deplorable & Unfortunate

Oxford University Press [OUP] had promised to withdraw the book tittled "Shivaji" : HinduKing In Islamic India" from the market on Nov 21,2003 due to offensive sections in the book The said book had already been banned by Maharashtra Govt in 2004. Inspite of these facts the respected Supreme Court has lifted the ban on Laine Book which is very deplorable & Unfortunate.

India Today In My Eyes

I Don't disagree that Corruption & Adulteration are as old as hills but now it seems that these have crossed all the previous heights during the last two decades. I don't see any fields that has been left untouched by corruption and aduteration.Another challenge before the countery is criminalisation of politics. Politics & Crime are so closely linked with eachother that it is impossible to draw a line between them. The future of the nation seems to be hopelessly dark. This land of holy people is being controlled by unholy people & ugly souls. India is passing through bad times. I hope only Nature will Cure all these things in a short passage of Time.
